Widgets on my TV?

Yay, what a great idea. Check out this post on TechCrunch. Apparently apple has patented the idea but hasn’t actually gone with it yet. I for one would be very interested. Widgets are a fun little computer tool. They’re like little application appetizers showing me tidbits of information without dashing all over the web. I like the ones about weather, gas price comparisons, and the date and time. Now if I had these on my television no matter what I’d be watching the weather would be right there to see. I wouldn’t have to switch back and forth hoping to catch my weather on the eights. What could be better than that?
